Tiki fans probably best recognized them for their flat acrylic swizzles produced in small batches for Tiki tOny and others.
However, the original small pink brick-and-mortar California Lustre shop in Palm Springs eventually closed and Melaina and her husband moved to Austin, Texas and had to put many of their beloved California Lustre products on hold. Hopefully to return at some point.
Recently, Melaina has focused more on online sales with her Lustrewear brand of vintage clothing (and a new Lustrewear website launched in 2021).
