Trader Vic's - Atlanta
8 May 2025
In all my visits to Atlanta, I had never visited the Trader Vic's and that is a crime. What a beautiful restaurant. It's all original, classy and fun. The bar area is lively, and the dining area, while large, is composed of smaller rooms that keep the vibe relaxed and intimate. We had a selection of the smaller plates this evening, and did not order entrees. We had the Cosmic Tidbits Pupu, Beef Cho Cho, Crab Rangoon, Calamari and a Poke Bowl. All were tasty! As far as cocktails, I had a Suffering Bastard and Tututupo Tiki and enjoyed both. However, I had sips of my companion's Peachtree Punch and loved it! The drinks are nice and powerful, which I've found to be true everywhere I've gone in Atlanta, and that's great! The manager, Jesus, came by our table to greet us and we later chatted with him for a while at the end of our visit. We will definitely return next April for their 50th Anniversary celebration. Can't wait!

Trader Vic's - Atlanta
Atlanta, Georgia, United States
This Trader Vic's opened in the basement level of the Hilton Hotel in downtown Atlanta in 1976. This is the only one of the Trader Vic's locations in the United States today that has not been updated in a way that removes some of the original charm. There have been ebbs and flows in the quality of the drink offerings over the last decade or so, but its value as a piece of Polynesian Pop history has helped it remain an important attraction.
