"Well hello Mr. Punchy! You appear to be another wonderful and whimsical creation from one of the all-time greatest artists ever in the resurgent Tiki scene, our good old pal, Derek Yaniger!
You were intended as the launch mug for our recent sold-out premier event at Tiki Farm, but the timeline for your arrival was too close, so we held back your sea faring friend, Captain Moai (note his 2024 bottom mark!) for that occasion and boy what a gala reception he had! Since our event tickets included the hand-off of a wonderful new mug and knowing that in our 25 years that Tiki Farm will never pre-sell our mugs, as taking your hard-earned cash in advance aren’t waters we wish to navigate, we were so grateful to have the good Captain in-hand for the occasion, having been quality control inspected by our team and ready to take the stage along with Mr. Yaniger at that wonderful, sold-out party!
But you, Mr. Punchy, you feel to us a bit more, well, like you’d appreciate brightening our friends mornings by servin’ up a robust cup of morning coffee, just as much as you’d be at home with a hand-crafted, rum-soaked cocktail. You’ve got a certain savoir faire for bringing out the 'Happy!' in us all! But if we flip you around to your backside what do we have here? Maybe it’s the am coffee-less version of Mr. Punchy indeed… his slightly-grumpy alter ego perhaps? Thanks to Derek’s always light-hearted, world-famous retro-style, your friends at Tiki Farm present you with another passion piece from the minds and chops of our over 300 talented artist partners to-date. Mr. Punchy is his own, unique, creatively inspired tribute to the undisputed talents of Derek Yaniger, one of our favorite and most prolific artist-collaborators from our massive stable of talent.
