This highball style, bamboo shaped mug was produced in the late 40's to early 50's by Weil Ware of California. These featured a blue-grey wash at the top fading to a natural off-white base, with two stands of bamboo painted on one side and one stand of bamboo on the other side of the mug. A molded bamboo ring appears an inch above the bottom. A blue underglaze stamp on the bottom states "Hand Decorated Weil Ware Made in California Reg. Pat M960.5" and features a burro logo in the middle of the text.
