Ended up in Washington D.C. a lot for work conferences and this was a fun place to bring people who hadn't been to a Tiki bar.
Was usually busy, but the vibe was pretty chill either at the beginning or the end of the night. I didn't care for their standard drink menu (my first visit notes: 1) Mai Tai: first sip tastes like burning; 2) Truck Bed Funeral: tastes like smoke; 3) Jungle Room Experience: light, cool parrot mug), but my wife found out they had a "secret" menu of TIki classics that were better and I stuck to those on future visits.
The overall experience was always very good, not great, but it was in a good location near public transit and Ben's Chili bowl, so I have a ton of great memories there and will definitely miss it.

Love this place!! Drinks are classic tiki recipes and the food fits the atmosphere. It's small in here so reservations are encouraged for sure. But if there's space at the (small) bar just go ahead and sit right down!
