Squid
a.k.a. Dave Cohen
Dave Cohen (born 1960 Kansas City, Missouri) is a sculptor, illustrator, type designer and musician. Known in the lowbrow art scene as "Squid", Dave has been a key figure in the Tiki revival scene, having sculpted master models for hundreds of Tiki mugs. Dave currently lives in the Seattle area.

2018 Luau at the Lake 10th Anniversary Bowl in 7 collections
This is a bowl with a standing tiki in center with concave head to light on fire. The Tiki Motor Inn has the same "Flat Belly Tiki" (Lumpy) outside of the Paradise Lounge at the resort. Manufactured by Squidart.com. 132 were made for the event (103 available to attendees only) as well as 4 various glaze artist proofs sold at the silent auction. A custom 1/1 was also in the silent auction and another Custom 1/1 "Anatomically Correct Version" was sold via the "Mystery Bowl Auction". The event took place June 28th - July 1st, 2018.

Like his namesake, Baby Bob is a happy and simple tiki face in white against a rich brown pole backdrop, with black painted eye details. Unlike the original, Baby Bob has very large eyes, a nipple on top with a straw hole, and he is sucking a pacifier.

Dental Handled Yellow in 10 collections
This is a handled version of Tiki Farm's first tiki mug -- originally, the design had no handle, and the tapered design made them easy to drop. Tiki has lots of teeth and a nose ring. The yellow version is the third incarnation of the piece. The first had a green glaze and no handle and the second had a purple glaze and no handle.
