Tiki Mug Design

The Tahitian - Aqua Blue - from the Sven Kirsten Kollection - by Tiki Farm - for Trader Vic's

This design is modeled after a traditional carved Tahitian tiki head, as used in the early Trader Vic's restaurant chain.

Sven has partnered with Trader Vic's, as before with his Modernist tiki mug, to release this mug along with a 60-page hardbound book written by Sven Kirsten elucidating the origins of the mug’s design & name. The book cover art is by Michael Uhlenkott.

This design, like others in partnership from Sven and Tiki Farm, was released in three different glaze colors. This Aqua Blue glaze is sold directly from Trader Vic's. A second in Green glaze is sold through Sven, himself, at marketplaces and other events.
