Trader Vic's - Munich

Classic bar in the basement of the Munich Hilton Hotel. Made the mistake of asking the waiter if we might be able to purchase glassware, a branded plate, or a saucer. He said that that wasn't possible, but from that point on he didn't take his eyes off of us. We noticed him peeking at us from behind shelving and around corners. It was comical, and it was too absurd to be angry about. I do wish we'd gotten out of there with some dishes or at least a menu. Great drinks, of course.

Trader Vic's - Munich

The Munich Trader Vic's is located in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. It opened in time for Munich's 1972 Olympic Games. It remains a great example of the golden days of Trader Vic's design.
