Definitely neither Tiki nor a bar, but I agree wholeheartedly with its inclusion on this site. A Portland classic, almost like an extension of the Alibi's outdoor decor. Try to ignore the tweakers lurking in the parking lot and imagine those halcyon pre-Interstate 5 days when this road (Interstate Avenue) was a bustling, brightly-lit thoroughfare lined with neon signs.

This seedy motor hotel has two great things going for it: an utterly fantastic neon sign, and proximity to The Alibi (it's right across the street).

An overnight stay may not be for the faint-of-heart. It has received consistently bad reviews.
