South Pacific Keg O' Rum Barrel - Gloss Brown

in 1 collection

This barrel is from the South Pacific Restaurant in Hallandale, FL, which was heavily influenced by the Mai Kai.

This version appears to be the earliest version and is a glossy brown.

Another version of this mug has orange lettering on a brown staved barrel with white glazed interior and appears to be made by Otagiri.

The Keg O' Rum appears on surviving menus and the drink served in it was supposed to contain "A barrel of pleasure; four golden rums and 7 fruit juices. Delightful!"
