A completely fine place overall, but felt like a T(iki) G. I. Fridays to me. A lot of WITCO style art, but the place is very bright and has more of a sports bar feel. Nobody there working or drinking at the bar seemed to care about Tiki bars or drinks. If you were really craving a tropical drink then it would be good, but any Tiki purist can skip without regrets.

I enjoyed the Jamaican jerk pork sandwich a lot.

The Hula's Mai Tai has pineapple juice and dark rum in it. It's advertised as not sweet, but it is. Not terrible tasting, but not a classic Mai Tai or really a Hawaiian style either. 7/10

This location opened in 2020.

From the Hula's Modern Tiki website:

Seating up to 130 inside, plus another 60 outside on the wraparound outdoor dining deck, warm up with our cozy fire-pits or soak in the tropical breeze with our state-of-the-art mister fan system.
