I like this mug! It feels good! Has a good weight and that neck of his is the perfect spot for a finger to wrap around and give the support you need to hold him when he's full of some wonderful beverage. Won't drop this fella! Nah uh uh!

"Even though this is Number 9 of 25, I almost consider this one a test glaze because it was treated different from the rest to get a different effect. I hand dipped it and then fired it and then sprayed it with another coat to make it look like a coconut shell. As I loved this style my artist and partner did not so the rest we all just sprayed. This mug is much darker and has different shades throughout. Because of the dip n' spray it has these cool bubbles baked into them that are solid and add some cool texture to this mug. Signed on the bottom by myself "Wildsville Man" and numbered.”

This one was dipped and sprayed. The result was a darker mug with teeny tiny bubbles in the glaze.

I want to try to glue him together just to still have him in my collection. Any suggestions for a good glue? I won't be drinking from him.. Im gonna miss him if I don't.

This Pele mug has red/orange lava flowing over the face. The inside is red and the rest is black like lava rock.

I bought this mug in 2006 from an art student in Colorado. He said the story behind it was, "after getting drunk on one too many tiki drinks one night, some girl at the party trying to help, loaded up the dishwasher and washed the UN-MACHINE-WASHABLE mug.. When it came out of the dishwasher the next day, the latex paint from the eyeball was everywhere. He literally had to chip it off (carefully). Once he had a clear, green mug. He pulled out his paints and started on bringing #9 back to life. What he came up with isn't overdone and to say the least, makes for a unique mug. One may argue this hurts the value, others may feel it is enhanced by this "second coat of paint". Personally, it feels good to have such a unique mug.
