Welcome to the mytiki.life v2 beta.

This is a work in progress and there may be some bugs.

I copied this from the Artist's own words:

"Even though this is Number 9 of 25, I almost consider this one a test glaze because it was treated different from the rest to get a different effect. I hand dipped it and then fired it and then sprayed it with another coat to make it look like a coconut shell. As I loved this style my artist and partner did not so the rest we all just sprayed. This mug is much darker and has different shades throughout. Because of the dip n' spray it has these cool bubbles baked into them that are solid and add some cool texture to this mug. Signed on the bottom by myself "Wildsville Man" and numbered.”

See the pics I took of the bubbles and the color variation between mugs. I own two of them.

Distinguishing Characteristics

This one was dipped and sprayed. The result was a darker mug with teeny tiny bubbles in the glaze.

Goin' Primitive Mug in Wildsville Brown

in 5 collections

This is a fez-wearing ape head mug based on the artwork of David C. Wong and sculpted and manufactured by Grog (Ernie Keen). This mug was designed for the Goin' Primitive Event on October 14th-16th, 2011, in Newberry Springs, CA. The standard event edition (limited to 90 regular green fez and 10 surprise package leopard spotted fez mugs) more closely resembles the colors of the original art with a bluish tinge to the ape head and a green fez. Artist proofs and custom editions of this mug vary in glaze color. This edition of 25 in gloss brown was painted by Rory Snyder (Wildsville Man).
