Haunted Spirits: Tombstone - Sangre Edition - Red - by Lost Temple Traders
in 2 collections
This mug depicts a tiki/ghost standing atop a tombstone. At the base of the stone is a small bust of a bearded man who has an axe stuck in his head.
From Lost Temple Traders:
"Welcome curious travelers! The idols we present for you this evening are as peculiar as any we’ve ever come across. Part New Orleans voodoo and part island deity. One thing is for certain, when you imbibe from these haunted spirits, the room will feel like it’s stretching. This is the Limited Edition 250 Sangre glaze variant."
The design is a "tikified" play on one of the stretching posters in the Haunted Mansion attraction at both US Disney theme parks.
Orange Bird - Citrus Edition - by Trader Nic's
in 2 collections
This is a mug sculpted as a wood-carved version of the Orange Bird.
Orange Bird is a Disney character first created in 1969 and debuted in 1970 as a mascot for the Florida Citrus Commission, in exchange for them sponsoring the Enchanted Tiki Room attraction and Sunshine Tree Terrace at the Magic Kingdom theme park. Orange Bird is an animated orange canary. The artistic design of Disney’s orange bird is actually attributed to two different artists, depending on which sources you’re looking at. Most official Disney publications say he was created by Don MacLaughlin, but a number of other historical accounts mention Bob Moore. It seems that perhaps Don MacLaughlin created some of the original designs or concept art and then worked together with Moore to narrow down and finalize the design.
From Trader Nic's:
"This mug stands 8 inches tall and holds up to 18oz of your favorite drink. Sculpted by Vassar and produced by Monkey Skull.
Limited Edition 25pc Citrus Glaze."
*This design was released in multiple color-ways.

Tiki tOny's Skipper's Bote Tiki Mug - Open Edition
in 18 collections
From TikiLand Trading Co.:
"SKIPPER'S BOTE TIKI MUG
The Skipper’s Bote was docked... more like crashed ashore by a highly skilled and trained Skipper... upon being parked or abandoned by said Skipper, a local tiki carver decided to add their carved touches to the bote. Upon closer inspection, there may even be marks from hippo attacks, rhinos, and even nibbles from a zebra! The gorillas just drove the bote a few laps on the endless Amazonian De Nile yet they put the most damage on it.
This mug is also available as part of the 'You're in De Nile' 2 mug set."
Designed by Tiki tOny and sculpted by THOR.
Served with a drink called "Not Just A River In Egypt". Drink card came with set.

The Hawaiian Legend of the Nightmarchers
On the nights honoring the Hawaiian gods Kāne, Kū, Lono, or on the nights of Kanaloa they are said to come forth from their burial sites, or to rise up from the ocean, and to march in a large group to ancient Hawaiian battle sites or other sacred places. The legend says the night marchers are warriors, dressed for battle, carrying spears, clubs, and some are beating war drums and blowing tones from conch shells, to announce the advancing of their march. According to the myth, they are suspended in air; their feet do not touch water or ground as they traverse through the night, and they leave no evidence of their visitations. They march in darkness after sunset and march as a group continuously until just before sunrise. Anyone living along their path may hear chanting, sounds of blown conch shell tones, and marching noises in the night. The following signs are a foul and musky “death-like” odor, and torches getting brighter and brighter as the night marchers get closer. Nightmarchers might appear during the day if they are to escort a dying relative to the spirit world.
*NOTE: In 2024, TikiLand Trading Company released an 18oz personal-sized version of this design in red with a black wipe-away glaze.

Booze Cruise - Green Edition - by Lost Temple Traders
in 2 collections
This mug is based on a statue of the Hindu monkey god, Hanuman, which sat among various artifacts in the darkened Cambodian ruins in the Mekong River portion of the Disney Jungle Cruise ride. Hanuman was later replaced with a golden snake to be more politically correct.
This mug version also holds a tiki mug in its right hand, whereas the statue did not.
From Lost Temple Traders:
"The Booze Cruise has been on a long journey- the project originated with Kaku Kaku Tiki [Bill Grayson/Polynesian Village], and we took it over after long delays when it was dead."
Sculpted by Patrick Vassar (The Green Tiki). The Booze Cruise mug was released in Bone, Green, and Brown editions.
