This is a footed mug shaped like a drum with Marquesan style Tiki designs and inspired by the Pahu of the Marquesas.
For reference, Trader Vic's personal drum was used. Sculpted by Javier del Campo, former Trader Vic's Food & Beverage Director, in 2016.
The original design in beige & brown glaze was made in Thailand for Trader Vic's. Used to serve the "Drums of Ku" cocktail which contains lime juice, cranberry juice, lemon juice, TV's mai-tai mix, sloe gin, cherry heering, and overproof rum.
This, however, is a reglaze by Woody Miller with a Cerulean Blue glaze. Limited to 25 pieces. Holds approximately 14 ounces.
