This mug is based on the marquee sign tiki for the Tiki Theater Xymposium, in Los Angeles. This theater opened around 1970 and was eventually known for being the last remaining adult theater in LA, long after all the others had closed due to the ready availability of video rentals and internet content.
The marquee has gone through many changes since then and the tiki is no longer visible.
Eric first released this mug on September 7th, 2013 for the Original Tiki Marketplace. He made these one at a time, releasing a few at future events as well.
