"For many, this may seem new, but if you visited Disneyland’s Adventureland in the 1970’s through 1980’s you’re likely to have seen something very similar. Randotti was a company that produced all sorts of plaster and resin statues, pendants, skulls, tikis, etc which were sold at a shop located near the Jungle Cruise. Their pieces, now considered vintage, are highly sought after by collectors.
This particular mug is inspired by a large wall hanging they used to produce labeled “Bunieba” #816 in their catalog. It has a great primitive look and feel, and while originally not a full sculpture, this rendition is fully formed with a backside. It makes a perfect mug, and a beautiful conversation piece.
We present to you 'The Bunieba Randotti Tribute Tiki Mug'.
This mug holds about 19oz (varies slightly mug to mug), and is about 7.25 inches tall.
Designed and Sculpted by TikiLand Trading Co., in sunny Southern California. Imported."
