This small mug is shaped like a pirate's head. The pirate is wearing a head scarf and an eye patch, with a knife blade in his mouth. Hair at the back forms a handle. It is not cold-painted so the details are difficult to see. Tepco collections have also shown a hula girl mug, a Trader Vic's Kneeling Hula Girl Bowl, and a coconut mug glazed in this light blue with no cold-paint. The thread is on Tiki Central at https://tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?topic_id=40077 where it chronicles a 2011 Tepco collectors show seminar -- "Tepco – El Cerrito’s Contribution to the World of Tiki and Ceramics".
