This white (salad or bread) small plate features an airbrushed scene in blue and brown of a surfer girl riding a wave with a couple of fish and measures 7.5" in diameter. According to the Wallace date code "12-O" this piece dates to August of 1945. The 10.5" diameter dinner plate is marked "10-0" (also 1945) with same pattern on front.
There was also a matching rarebit oval dish, a coffee cup, and a creamer in this same design pattern.
