Severed Willie - by Weena Bee
aka Decapitated Steamboat Willie, Steamboat Willie Severed Head in 0 collections
Walt Disney's Steamboat Willie, starring Mickey Mouse, entered public domain on January 1, 2024. This early version of Mickey then became fair game for creators to use or interpret as they wish. Some of those interpretations may be a bit bloody...
From Weena Bee:
"Severed Willie is a Limited Edition run of only 33 tiki cocktail mugs. Ships no later than 2 weeks.
This tiki mug features the upside-down severed head of the classic black-and-white Steamboat Willie, complete with crossed-out eyes, a dangling tongue, and crimson-red blood dripping down his face. It’s a bold homage, heavily inspired by the vintage 1960s Ren Clark’s Polynesian Village severed head cocktail mug.
Each mug is handcrafted in Denver, CO by artist Weena Bee using high-quality stoneware ceramics and finished with food-safe glazes. The ears, nose, and tongue are molded and attached separately before firing, making every piece one-of-a-kind.
The mug holds 10 oz of your favorite beverage and measures 5 inches tall by 6 inches wide ear to ear.
