This is a mug shaped like a Tiki head with a tall headdress decorated with a V pattern down the middle. It has a vertical wood grain pattern on back. It is one of a pair. The other mug in the set has a small face on the headdress. This limited color way was glazed in a brown exterior glaze with black highlights. Artist proofs and later runs come in assorted color ways.
