Inspired by the 1970 Monty Python "Bruces Sketch". The sketch involves four stereotypical "ocker" Australians of the period, who are all wearing khakis and cork hats. All are named Bruce, hence being known as the Bruces. 13 in edition.
From release of regular edition:
"Meet Psycho Bob, one of the more well-documented residents of Dr. Funk’s Rum Asylum. After months of observation, scribbled notes... and… incidents, our staff has decided he’s finally ready to rejoin society… or at least your home bar.
He’ll be released at the Tiki Bazaar this Sunday, November 16th. Approach with curiosity and take him home at your own discretion.
Each mug is hand painted and individually numbered, completed with patient, practiced precision by the one who knows Bob best, MP.
Only 75 exist. Once they’re gone, they’re gone."
In addition to the Regular Edition Psycho Bobs, 25 Limited Edition Psycho Bobs with special jungle pith helmet lids were created for the Rum Asylum (Rum Club) members at Dr. Funk. Those who finish the Rum Club list receive a LTD Psycho Bob with the special helmet as their reward.
As part of MP's deal with the Dr. Funk Bar, he's also making two small limited editions of the Psycho Bob as well: 13 LTD "Bruce" color-way Psycho Bobs with pith helmets & 10 LTD MP Custom Carved Special Psycho Bobs with crazy hat lids.
There are 123 Psycho Bobs total spread amongst the editions.
