This is one of three mugs in a set of South Sea Islander designs by Chongolio that portray classic Polynesian gods. Tongo has all the characteristics of a Rarotongan Fisherman God, with his angular eyes, wide-angled lips, and sun-shaped belly button. Wave pattern around upper back portion of mug as well.
