This mug is shaped like a full-body tiki with coffee-bean shaped eyes, small nose, an open figure-eight shaped mouth with no teeth, wearing a lei and holding a pineapple. Marked for Lei Low on front base.
This design was released in Classic Stone (white with black wipe) and Classic Brown (gloss brown) as a signed set at the bar for $90.
Tiki Shark also released a limited number of the unsigned set of the same glaze edition mugs on his website for $55 the week after.

It features a tiki with a pointed head. This is a classic design. The original Island Chief mug was made by Stella Bodey and Spurlin Ceramics in the early 1960s and used at the Islander in Los Angeles where it was used to serve the Husband Killer cocktail.
This version was manufactured by Bauer Pottery.

This Island Chief / Husband Killer Islander Tribute Tiki Mug is the exclusive event tiki mug for the 3rd annual Superstition Village Tiki Marketplace in 2024.

"This mug was made for the 3rd Annual Superstition Village Tiki Marketplace Event and pays tribute to the historic Islander Restaurant in Los Angeles with an exclusive 'Island Chief' Tiki Mug cast from the original molds! The Island Chief (also referred to as the Husband Killer) was designed by Stella Bodey of Spurlin Ceramics in the early 1960s. We partnered with Bauer Pottery to create this Limited Edition of 100 mugs in an exclusive desert turquoise glaze. These were handmade in California and feature a graphic screen on the backside by Doug Horne, a custom swizzle stick and exclusive cocktail recipe by Captain David of Hula’s Captain’s Cabin.
Mug is 8.75 inches tall. Very heavy, high quality made in the USA."
