This tiki mug is glazed in black with a subtle green wash and is marked for the Palm Springs location on reverse.
It features a tiki with a pointed head. This is a classic design. The original Island Chief mug was made by Stella Bodey and Spurlin Ceramics in the early 1960s and used at the Islander in Los Angeles where it was used to serve the Husband Killer cocktail.
This version was manufactured by Bauer Pottery.
