Toby Style Captain Hook with Crocodile Handle - by Royal Doulton
aka Captain Hook D6947 in 0 collections
This 1994 Royal Doulton Character Jug of the Year, Captain Hook D6947, was made in England and modeled by Martin Alcock.
Captain Hook is the nemesis of Peter Pan in J.M. Barrie's famous story. Peter Pan cut off Hook's hand and fed it to a crocodile, who liked it so much he followed the Captain around in hopes of eating the rest of him. Hook managed to keep eluding his predator because the crocodile had accidentally swallowed a clock that ticked inside him and ruined the element of surprise.

These mugs will not be reprinted and the original molds have already been destroyed. The bottom of the mug is dated '2022', has the location Cambridge MA printed on the bottom as well as 'Designed by Tiki Scott."
Journey To Hawaii - Third Edition - Lava Orange - by Jeff Granito
in 5 collections
From TikiLand Trading:
"For those who recognize it, this mug was very clearly inspired by a coveted piece of Tiki ephemera. The foam tiki statue that this mug’s Ku was modeled after is none other than from one of the most iconic, memorable, and influential travel marketing and advertising campaigns by United Airlines promoting air travel to Hawaii.
With a passion for Hawaii, Tiki, and all things at the intersect of art in popular culture and advertising, Lost Tiki envisioned and designed this mug with the help of friends Jeff Granito and Tom “THOR” Thordarson. Jeff and THOR each contributed depictions on the mug that represent some of the experiences and history that one encounters when visiting Hawaii. THOR masterfully brought these concepts together, and to life, in the sculpt.
Lost Tiki’s inspiration for each of the mugs created for TikiLand Mug Society is to tell part of his, and many other’s, story and journey of 'falling down the Tiki rabbit hole'. This is the 2nd mug in the ongoing TikiLand Mug Society series."
This third edition is glazed in a "Lava Orange". It was preceded by a first edition in brown that was exclusive to TikiLand Mug Society members and a second edition in "Jungle Relic Green".

Never Say Die Mutant Skull - Sloth Love Punk Edition - by Munktiki - for Dead Man's Isle
aka Goonies Sloth Skull - Misfits Punk Edition - for Dead Man's Isle in 6 collections
This is a strangely elongated skull in bone white glaze. It belonged to the character Sloth from the film "The Goonies" which was shot in Astoria where Munktiki is located. This version is a bit of a mash-up with the classic skull image from the punk band, The Misfits -- which featured The Crimson Ghost (wearing a black hood) derived from the film of the same name.
Also of note, The Goonies motto is "Never Say Die!" Additionally, "Never Say Die" is an actual Tiki drink from Don the Beachcombers, circa 1960's and reproduced by BeachBum Berry in his Total Tiki app.
Produced by Munktiki for Dead Man’s Isle.
