Pumpkinut Jack with Floral Tapa Witch Hat - by Jungle Modern Ceramics
in 1 collection
From Jungle Modern Ceramics:
"Pumpkinut Jack Details
- One thing I want to point out about the Pumpkinut mugs, is how the black liner glaze breaks thin over the lip and some of the high marks on the interior, where my fingers created little ridges from pushing the clay in and out. That's all, thanks for looking.
*Measures approximately 3.25 inches tall x 5.25 inches wide and holds about 24 fluid ounces without the hat. With the hat, it measures 7.5 inches tall x 6.5 inches across the rim of the hat. If you'd like to drink with the hat on, the top is open for a straw. The lid also sits inside the lip, so be sure to account for some liquid loss if drinking with the hat on.
- Wheel thrown, altered, and carved.
- Light stoneware
- Mid-range fired to cone 5"

Floral Tapa Coconut Mug - Classic Brown Edition - by Jungle Modern Ceramics
in 1 collection
From Jungle Modern Ceramics:
"Up for sale I've got some of my wheel thrown and hand carved coconut mugs with a tapa style floral design.
This is the first batch in classic brown and I'll have a batch of baby green available this Sunday, along with some other new color combos.
A few quick notes:
- On average, these measure about 3.75 inches tall x 4.5 inches wide and hold an average of 16-18 ounces.
- Your piece will be very similar to, but is not the exact one pictured.
- Due to the wheel throwing and hand carving, each one is a little bit different.
- FYI, on average, these will be slightly larger than the Marquesan coconuts that are available and this one is a little more matte.
- For multiple purchases, I will do my best to match them with the inventory I have available. *Signed in the clay."
Kon-Tiki Commemorative Mug - Tikiland Trading Company Edition - by THOR
aka Kon-Tiki Raft Mug in 17 collections
In 1947, a journey across the great Pacific Ocean from South America to the Polynesian islands took place on a rustic, hand crafted, raft led by Norwegian explorer, Thor Heyerdahl. With a raft named after the Inca god "Viracocha", the brave crew set out for an adventure of a lifetime! Heyerdahl believed that people from South America could have, by sail, reached Polynesia during pre-Colombian times. His aim in launching the "Kon-Tiki" expedition was meant to prove that. This mug version is sculpted by a different "THOR" you all may know (Tom Thordarson).
Tikiland Trading Co. took over the production of Thor’s in-house produced Kon-Tiki Commemorative Mug. Thor made minor tweaks to the size and color of the mug, which are hardly noticeable from the mug that Thor originally produced (waves now appear more green and less blue for instance). These limited edition mugs are first being sold to the people waiting on Thor’s original 2019 waiting list. Only a small number of these mugs were produced by Thor in-house (which were sold in 2019).
This edition of the Kon-Tiki mug was released in the fall of 2022. The 75th Anniversary Kon-Tiki Commemorative Set from Tikiland Trading Co. also includes a drink recipe card for a rum based “Raroia-Noku”. Tikiland also included a signed and matted print and and COA both signed by Thor. Cost was $245 and a $5 deposit.
