Polynesian Fishing God Tiki Mug - First Edition - in Bone - by Oakwash - for Pleasant Tiki
in 5 collections
From Witco Decor:
"This Official Witco Decor mug is modeled after an original William Westenhaver design from the early 1960’s. The 'Polynesian Fishing God' was the first of many fountains that he designed in his 20 years as artist and president of the company.
This ceramic tiki mug was produced by Omar Girona and his team at Oakwash, a ceramics studio in Louisiana. It represents a weathered, vintage Witco Fountain, with its deep wood grain, bleached, and weathered surfaces. Each mug is distinctly different, just as each carving that was produced in the Witco Factory was distinctly different. The mug features a hand-wiped Bone Wash glaze, making each one, a one of a kind. No two are alike."
