Narwhals are often referred to as the “unicorns of the sea,” and for good reason. In medieval times, Vikings often hunted narwhals and sold their tusks as “unicorn horns” to unsuspecting Europeans.
This mug features a Narwhal perched atop a crate that has washed up on a reef covered in barnacles. The narwhal is glazed in a greenish wash, the crate in brown, and the reef and barnacles in a yellowish beige. The crate is labeled on the front for "Three Dots and a Dash". White interior. "Tiki Diablo" on bottom.
These made a debut at Hukilau 2022, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Later sold on the bar website in 2024 in either a blue (greenish aqua blue) and a tan glazed version.
Debuted at The Hukilau 2022 – June 9-12th, 2022 - at the Beachcomber Resort & Club in Pompano Beach (just south of Fort Lauderdale). Later sold on the website for $150 for either blue or tan color-ways.
