This unmarked glossy brown mug is shaped like a full body tiki with a teardrop-shaped nose, round swirling ears, a straight mouth and small squinting eyes. The lines around the mouth and on the forehead suggest moko.
It is a Spurlin design, the same as the mug used at the Islands Restaurant at the Hanalei, however the glossy brown glaze appears to be more recent than the mottled and variated early Spurlin glazes.
It is unclear if this was pulled from the same molds as the originals.
