Designed by Max’s in-house ceramicist Jerry Berta (“Bertiki”), this mug is based on a wood carving at Max’s South Seas Hideaway that comes from the French Polynesian island of Mo’orea. They added some extra detail in the sculpt to make the lines pop and this artist proof is unique from the limited edition in Maori Red.
There were multiple Artist Proofs made, each in unique colors, marked 1/1 on bottom.
