This is a bowl supported by three tikis. The tikis have long noses, eyes squinted shut and lined faces suggesting moko. They are kneeling and have their hands on their bellies. This design was originated by Stella Bodey at Spurlin Ceramics and was also used for mugs by Sam's Seafood (Later became Don the Beachcomber's). The lined-face Maori was also used on S&P shakers and reproduced by later makers for mugs and shakers as well.
