This is a kneeling Papua New Guinea tiki-shaped mug on a rock-shaped base.
From Max's South Seas Hideaway:
"Designed and made right here at Max’s in our in-house ceramic studio. It’s based on a Papua New Guinea wood carving found inside Max’s. We call it 'Kangingara Warrior'.
This is an edition of 50 mugs."
There were also artist proofs and one-offs of this design produced.
