Kanaloa - by Tiki Rob & Hantiki

This is a mug shaped like a standing Tiki with a very tall headdress. The head of the mug has small round eyes and a small nose. There are tentacles on either side.
Originally issued by Tiki Rob in all-brown, later Custom Versions were issued by Tiki Rob with tentacles in bright contrasting colors, and these custom color-ways came in a wide range of combinations.
Similar to a popular souvenir Coco Joe's version of Kanaloa that was issued in resin, circa 1981.
Tiki Rob's design premiered at Arizona Tiki Oasis, April 27th-30th, 2023.
More custom versions were sold Saturday morning at Exotikon in Los Angeles, June 24th, 2023.
This version, in wood grain and multiple other decorative versions was issued after Tiki Rob's passing by his daughter, Hannah Hawes (Hantiki). They are molded "Tiki Rob Hantiki" on the bottom with an incised number of the running edition and Hannah has initialed and given the year of issue in black Sharpie on the unglazed rim at bottom.
