"Jacques Tu'Slo, the unlucky ocean explorer, wearing his barnacles and starfish friends as testament to his travels, has washed up onto shore in search for a final resting place on your shelves.
Each Jacques is handcrafted and customized with cracked and knocked out teeth, and aging marks in the bone.
Food safe ceramic. Limited to 200."
This is a riff on Jacques-Yves Cousteau, an oceanographer, filmmaker and author. He co-invented the first successful open-circuit self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, called the Aqua-Lung, which assisted him in producing some of the first underwater documentaries.
