This is a light green oval ashtray with a map of the Hawaiian Islands. The graphics are in black and there are some designs, including a hula girl and tropical fish to illustrate what can be found on the islands. A white flower lei surrounds the graphics. This piece was part of a larger set, including a rectangular ashtray, napkin holder, shot glass, and several other pieces made in Japan for the tourist trade after Hawaii became the 50th state.
