This mug was designed to look like a rum keg used for trade in the early 1900's, one that has been battered by dozens of trips across the Atlantic and back. The "metal fitting" on the side, with a "cork" driven into it designates this is technically not a big barrel, but a much smaller KEG. These mugs were released in an "Antiquity Brown" glaze of 500 and, this, an Artist Proof edition of 30 (slightly bigger) in several different colored glazes.
