Bob Lee's Bamboo Ashtray

This 5" wide oblong ashtray is marked for "Bob Lee's" in Boston and features a bamboo edging with a lauhala natural woven matting surface.
Because it doesn't say "Lantern House" or "Islander" it is tough to discern whether this is an early or later ashtray for this location which remodeled and went from a Chinese restaurant to a full-Tiki establishment around 1960. Probably a pre-1960 piece, however.
