This ashtray is made to look like a log. There is a tiki face "carved" in the front. This version is showing his teeth.
The face resembles a Westwood W-17 Tiki Mug.
There are at least two more similar ashtrays in this series, including the Yellow Face Diamond Log and Yellow Face Mellow Log ashtray.
There are also matching mugs. This series was put out by Nasco, a manufacturer based in Japan.
