Paradise Unknown is the latest concept from the masterminds behind downtown San Antonio nightlife staple Be Kind & Rewind. It is a highly immersive, spooky cocktail bar situated just steps from the River Walk. It features tiki-ish decor (with fish floats, netting, and appropriately lighted swag lamps...although there is a noted lack of actual carved tikis) and pirate-themed decor (skulls, rough oak and nautical elements). Skulls predominate with two giant-size skull wall features. They also have creative tropical cocktails with branded glassware and wholesale style mugs. They offer late-night Mexican/Chinese bites (small plates by Chef Jaime Gonzalez of Wok Wey), and weekend DJs.
