This speakeasy tiki bar opened in 2022 in the basement of the Barney's Beanery in Pasadena.

It is a large space and is lined with several booths, a wall lined with coconut monkeys, and many float lamp lights suspended from the ceiling for atmosphere.

It doubles as their live events space with

KARAOKE NIGHT: Thursdays from 10pm to close, Fridays and Saturdays at 9:30pm

COMEDY NIGHT: Every Wednesday Home Cookin Comedy! Hosted by Leonard Smith Jr. & Pasadena's Best Free Comedy Night

The Tiki Hut was open and running circa 1962 -- with "exotic beverages" served in the Shell Room lounge -- and continued into the 70s (at one point also know as "Hope's Hut"). In the 80s it was the Blue Hawaiian Restaurant (still featuring the Shell Room) until becoming Lee Chee Garden in the late 80s. It was later known as Chen's Village from 2005-2018.

As of 2022, this location is a Sisters and Brother Nashville hot chicken restaurant.

There was also a second location for Tiki Hut, at one point, in Lynnwood at 5621 196th S. W.

Originally named Tiki Village, the Tiki Hotel is an iconic Apartment Hotel located on the banks of the Nerang River at the end of Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise, Australia.

Built by Bernie Elsey (around 1965), who also built the Surfrider Hotel and the Surfers Paradise Beachcomber. Bernie's in-house entertainments were legendary. The pyjama parties and Hawaiian nights pushed the edges of the law, filling national papers with copy and his establishments with patrons. He also famously introduced the Surfers Paradise Meter Maids, clad in gold bikinis and armed with sixpences employed to rescue motorists from expired parking meters. They became internationally famous and still operate, nearly fifty years later.

Tiki Village was the first purpose built Timeshare Resort in Australasia and ran as such from 1982 until December 2018 when it was relaunched as a Full Service Hotel and renamed the Tiki Hotel Surfers Paradise.

Opened in 1959, Tiki Bob's Mainland Rendezvous, more commonly shortened to Tiki Bob's Mainland, was the second location of the fabled Tiki Bob's to be located in San Francisco, the original was at Post & Taylor. This short-lived location catered to the nearby businessmen by offering "lingerie shows" where young women walked through the restaurant in their skivvies. Ostensibly, the idea was that these models would inspire the businessmen to then purchase the lingerie to bring home for their wives. Lingerie shows lived on in the neighborhood for quite some time -- nearby Sutter Station tavern was still doing them as late as the 2000s.

Today, the same space now holds Pagan Idol.

Ukuleles of Felton was the retail presence for Tiki King (Pat Baron), who has long been a purveyor of fine, hand-crafted tiki tchotchkes and a friend to ukulele players everywhere. It opened in Felton in November 2010.

The focus of the store was on ukuleles. From beginning Flea ukuleles all the way up to high-end fine ukes.

There were also plenty of King's famous tiki necklaces and keychains, and tiki mugs and other small tiki items, too.

Tiki Tom's was a Polynesian/Caribbean restaurant, bar and banquet facility on an estuary in Oakland. This Tiki Tom's location opened in late 2008, two years after its owner, Tom Davies (Tiki Tom) sold his share of the original Tiki Tom's location in Walnut Creek; the two locations were otherwise unconnected.

Tiki Tom's burned down under "suspicious circumstances" shortly after their liquor license expired and the power was cut off, in October 2010.

The bar featured a mosaic by Laurel True (then of the Institute of Mosaic Art) 3 which survived the fire.

The location is now the aptly-named Phoenix Commons senior co-housing project.

Tiki Boyd's was the creation of controversial pop culture figure Boyd Rice, known to many from his early industrial/noise music outfit NON, known to tikiphiles for his essay in Taboo: The Art of Tiki. Rice is a tiki enthusiast, and a vintage music aficionado -- and this bar reportedly played music only from vinyl.

It was located in the Ramada Inn in downtown Denver which was originally called The Heart O’ Denver Motor Hotel when it was built back in the 1960s, and its bar was called simply the Tiki Lounge - designed by none other than legendary beachcomber and consultant to Disneyland, Eli Hedley.

In January 2006, just a few months after opening, several key players (including Boyd Rice) pulled out of the venture. The bar then operated without Boyd's tiki decor, under a different name, and was more of a retro/rockabilly bar.

It appears the space is now home to Ahuevo Cantina Kitchen.
