Opened May 21st, 1974 in the James Building, using each of the two floors (measuring 6,000 square feet each).
This was one of three Tiki Tiki locations, the others were in Edmonton and Saskatoon.
The restaurant had thunderstorm effects periodically and two floor shows each night.
Tiki Tiki - Edmonton

Tiki Tiki was a small Polynesian restaurant on the basement level of a building, with a palm tree shaded A-frame entrance. The restaurant had a floor show with drummers and dancers. The decor included much bamboo, thatch, and a volcano. There were also Tiki Tiki locations in Calgary and Saskatoon.
This location closed in the mid 1980s and is now a bar called Woody's.
Tiki Bar - Moscow

Tiki Bar, on the northwest side of Moscow, opened in January or February of 2008. It occupied a spacious building, with several rooms featuring painted beach scenes, life-size boats, and some large tiki carvings. The restaurant menu was fairly extensive, and included an unusual variety of international fare, with everything from Italian to Indian to Mexican. A large menu of tropical cocktails was available.
Appears to have have closed @ March 2024.
Tiki Tom's - Oakland

Tiki Tom's was a Polynesian/Caribbean restaurant, bar and banquet facility on an estuary in Oakland. This Tiki Tom's location opened in late 2008, two years after its owner, Tom Davies (Tiki Tom) sold his share of the original Tiki Tom's location in Walnut Creek; the two locations were otherwise unconnected.
Tiki Tom's burned down under "suspicious circumstances" shortly after their liquor license expired and the power was cut off, in October 2010.
The bar featured a mosaic by Laurel True (then of the Institute of Mosaic Art) 3 which survived the fire.
The location is now the aptly-named Phoenix Commons senior co-housing project.
Tiki Torch Restaurant and Bar

Formerly the Okoboji Inn.
Tiki Torch Restaurant and Bar was short-lived: it opened in the summer of 2008, and was gone by January of the next year. It served burgers and tropical cocktails. Scooter riders got happy hour prices all the time.
This site was home to Providence Tavern (later just "Providence") from 2019 - 2024.
Tiki Lounge and Bar - Richmond

Tiki Lounge and Bar was a tiki bar in the Melbourne area. It was created in 2006 by David Backler and Dianne Heywood-Smith, as part of their dance studio. There was a focus on fresh, quality ingredients and traditional tiki cocktails, directed by barman Kevin Clark, a.k.a. "Cocktail Kev." As the bar was connected to a dance studio, tango dance lessons were on offer, and the bar hosted an eclectic array of entertainment.
Closed as of August 2016.
Tiki-Tiki Restaurant - Richmond

This Polynesian/Chinese restaurant opened in 1976.
The decor is not heavily Polynesian, but there is a large tiki mask at the front entrance and an Orchids of Hawaii swag lamp over the bar.
Drinks are served in tiki mugs and there is also a flaming Pu-Pu Platter on the menu.

Tiki Room - Arvika

Reputed to have burned down and then re-built and re-opened in 2006.
Tiki Room was a nightclub, and it does not appear to have had any connection to the Tiki Room in Stockholm. Some evenings, live bands performed, other nights were DJed music nights. There were some pieces by Bosko on the walls.
Appears to have closed @2009.
Tiki's Bar & Grill - Rotterdam

Tiki's Bar & Grill opened in summer 2006 in Rotterdam, in the South Holland province of the Netherlands. Tiki's is located just off of Witte de Withstraat, in the heart of Rotterdam. The space is lined with bamboo, tapa designs, rockwork, and tropical scenes, and thatch covers the bar area. There is a hula girl mosaic in the ladies' room. The music is an eclectic mix of oldies, Rockabilly, and '70s punk. The food is created by a cook from Malaysia, and tropical drinks are served.
