Opened May 21st, 1974 in the James Building, using each of the two floors (measuring 6,000 square feet each).

This was one of three Tiki Tiki locations, the others were in Edmonton and Saskatoon.

The restaurant had thunderstorm effects periodically and two floor shows each night.

Opened in 1981.

There were also Tiki Tiki locations in Edmonton and Calgary.

Opened in 2001, Zombie Club was a tiki dive bar on the north side of Crown Point Square. The room had brick walls and a tin ceiling, with rattan bar stools and a bit of thatch here and there.

Closed June 30th, 2026.

Public Enemy Pub in Crown Point, Indiana, officially opened in its place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Sutra Tiki Bar opened around 2000 or so in Toronto's Little Italy neighborhood, until it closed in 2012. The bar had relatively light tiki theming, was quite small and narrow, and had a sand-filled back patio.

Element Home Furnishings was established in 2004 and offered a wide array of tropical furniture and decor, including tiki bars and tikis.

They used to be directly across the street at 723 Soquel, but moved some time around 2011-2013 and the old location is now a restaurant supply store.

The final location appears to have closed @2020.

Tiki Bar Sargans was located in a small mountain town in the Swiss Alps, east of Zurich, and very near to Austria and Lichtenstein. It was opened on July 13, 2006 by Urs Schumacher. The most prominent feature was a boat that had been turned into a large table for casual bar seating. The furniture was mostly rattan seating, and there were a few small and large tikis on the premises.

Tiki Bar opened in 2005 near the Colonia Roma Norte section of Mexico City. The bar had a sleek design, with lots of bamboo. Jorge Alderete (Dr. Alderete) designed a logo tiki for them that has been turned into a mug and shot.

Appears to have closed in 2019.

Bali Bar was open at least by 1953. It specialized in Polynesian drinks, and the decor included large, stylized fake palm trees.

El Tiki was a nightclub, restaurant and bar in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It operated for nine years, from October 2007 through May 2016.

The Original Tiki Bar opened in 1990, was expanded in 1998, and was renovated after hurricane damage in 2004.

The restaurant had at least a few Florida-style tiki carvings. It is unclear what the "original" was in reference to.

Closed in April 2019. Now home to Crabby's Dockside.

Established in 1957, this bar on the north side of Wichita was originally a liquor store.

When converted over, the interior once had quite a bit more tiki decor.

Now, the bar has some tiki masks on the exterior of the building but that's about it, and some of these are missing in the latest remodel.

These tiki mask paintings were also used at Del Webb's Ocean House in San Diego -- shown in the Jerry Lewis film, The Big Mouth (1967) -- and at the Kon-Tiki Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.

It's really a beer bar, not a tiki bar. They do have a few cocktails on their menu, but their Mai Tai is made with Malibu rum, so you might want to stick to Bud Light.

Built in 1965, this 109 room hotel is a half mile north of the Bellair Shopping Plaza and sits on 2 acres of oceanfront property.

The Makai Beach Lodge was ravaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017, but before that it had a large tiki sign above the roofline and much more tiki decor in and about the site.

A moai head out front and a few tiki poles along one of the outbuildings leading to the pool survived for several years afterward.

Today (as of late 2026) the site is permanently closed and has been abandoned since sustaining major damage from Hurricane Milton in late 2024.
