Hammerhead Hideaway

Hollywood, Florida, United States

The Hammerhead Hideaway is an outdoor tiki bar underneath a native American Chikee Hut structure. The name came to us when my wife saw two people throwing away a 9 foot long fiberglass hammerhead shark. She pulled over and jedi mind tricked another observer into helping to put it into her tiny Mazda Miata convertible (tail out the roof). We've had lots of help with the major construction, deck, fence, bathroom, lighting, and bar. And we've done most of the finishing artistic touches ourselves. Highlighted by the hammerhead that has been refurbished and covered in traditional tattoos, custom tilework on the bar top, lighting, wall treatments, and the surrounding gardens.
