Tiki Classics
aka. Will Fugate, Katiki Classic Mugs – Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
Tiki Classics was created in December 2020 by Will Fugate with the intent of manufacturing tiki mugs based on classic tiki imagery.
Their first successful mug project was with Biggs Tiki, creating a faithful rendition of the iconic Aku Aku moai that used to be stationed at the Stardust Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Later items were produced in-house or with other collaborators.
The Katiki Classics company was also started by Will as a separate company and line.
The Katiki name was inspired by the Kahiki. Katiki was formed @2023 with the intention of reimagining vintage tiki imagery into modern and affordable ceramic mugs. To create tiki mugs that weren't but SHOULD have been, based on that vintage imagery.
