    Adventureland Mug in 9 collections

    This mug was designed for Disneyland by Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily. It is shaped like a thatched bamboo hut. It features an Adventureland sign under a skull and crossed tusks. The sides feature a tiki and a shield. Two skulls on poles are crossed on the back.

    This mug was made by Bauer Pottery in 2019 after the molds were found in their warehouse. There are only two known to have been produced by Bauer in 2019, both in this same glaze that were tests of the molds and glaze, and they were sold in the Bauer showroom. They still retain the 'Copyright Disney' stamp from the mold. Copyright issues likely prevented Bauer from making more of these.     This Tiki mug is designed after the Tiki that can be seen in the opening credits of "Hawaiian Eye", the television series which ran from 1959-1963. It was sculpted by Kevin Kidney and manufactured by Munktiki. Each includes a numbered certificate with the recipe for the official "Hawaiian Eye Cocktail" created for the show's cast in the 1960s. The original Tiki statue was part of the decor of the Hawaiian Village Hotel offices of the detective agency. This Tiki mug has slanted eyes, a long nose, an open mouth, and a small narrow neck that extends from a small circular block base.

    This highly stylized tiki character was designed by artist Kevin Kidney for an Orange County museum exhibit celebrating tiki in the late 1990s. Try spelling Miehana's name backward to get the local connection. This mug followed in 2004. There is a Miehana orange juice-based drink designed especially for this mug by Jeff Berry. The design features the Hukilau logo and the images that Kevin created out of paper when he designed The Hukilau's poster in 2007. The glass also features Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kevin designed this glass especially to serve the Black Magic cocktail.

    Based on the Tiki-Ti logo Tiki which was inspired by the Kon-Tiki Montreal menu cover Tiki from 1958. The design idea was formulated by Sven Kirsten and Ray Buhen and had a lot of help along the way, including Mark Noland and Kevin Kidney. Holden Westland took it the rest of the way and VOILA! The Green edition is the fourth color-way of this design produced, after the Honey Brown, Iron Oxide Brown, and Blue glazed versions.
