Johnny Sens

John "Johnny" Sens was an artist/ceramicist from New Orleans, LA, who made many hobbyist molds in the 1960s, including Tikis. He passed away on January 7, 2017 at the age of 83. Born in New Orleans on January 25, 1933 to the late Alexander Anthony Sens Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Schluter Sens. He was the owner of Johnny Sens of New Orleans, a Ceramic Mold Company and also Tiger Storage Trailer & Container Rentals. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.
