Enesco is an American giftware company based out of Itasca, Illinois. It acquired Otagiri Mercantile Company (OMC). It is most famous for the Precious Moments line of figurines. The Enesco name is derived from the company's origins as the import division of another company, N. Shure ("N S Co"). In 2007, Enesco filed for bankruptcy protection. In February 2007, Enesco Group, Inc. was purchased by Tinicum Capital Partners thus, becoming Enesco, LLC.
