EL's Tropical Lighting

Elena is a lamp and mug maker. She was first introduced to tiki and polypop in 2008, while visiting the Mai-Kai. She then started to make lighting for her own tiki bar and slowly began to sell at events to other home bar owners.

Her first commercial contract was with The Grass Skirt Tiki Room in Columbus, Ohio, (one of the lamps from there can now be visited at Tiki Underground in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio). She took a break for a few years and then returned to lamp-making in 2021 with several pieces made for the Huli Huli Restaurant in Powell, Ohio. Since then, she's produced pieces for many other home bars and lounges
