Ceramic Artist Daniela Petosa is best known for her modern home decor objects and timeless ceramic tile designs. Living in Tofino Canada, on Vancouver Island's far West coast, Daniela is strongly influenced by the wild coastal landscape. Her style captures the energy and movement of the west coast shoreline. Birds in flight, moving water, textured sand, wind, floating seaweed are all themes in her collections. Her fascination with movement is evident in her use of repetition through fluid lines and recurring tile patterns.
Daniela’s work is displayed throughout the town of Tofino in resorts, restaurants, and public lobbies, capturing a world wide audience.
Her connection to tiki started with a commission by Shameful Tiki Room in Vancouver to work on their 10th Anniversary Rum Barrel mugs.
